We bring FIFO efficiency to La Merced’s warehouse

At AR Racking, we continue to strengthen our presence in Mexico through an official distribution network capable of developing high-value projects for each customer. Together with PM STEELE®, AR Racking’s official distributor in Mexico and part of the #GrowingTogether programme, we have contributed to the logistics transformation of Empacadora La Merced with a solution based on Pallet Flow Racking systems (FIFO).

La Merced had a warehouse with room for improvement, but needed a storage system that would allow it to make better use of the available space and manage different product flows simultaneously. The operation required greater selectivity, better internal organisation and a more efficient dynamic to avoid bottlenecks.

Through PM STEELE®’s specialised support, a comprehensive diagnosis of the operation was carried out and a tailor-made solution was designed. The installation combines structures that allow a fixed flow with a system focused on selectivity, enabling more orderly inventory management and more agile product movement within the warehouse.
