Global Cosmetic Technology, S.L. installs AR Racking's solutions for its new warehouse

Glossco Professional (Global Cosmetic Technology), a specialist in the manufacture of professional products for hairdressers and beauticians, has now a new 1,450 m2 warehouse equipped with AR Racking’s adjustable pallet racking system and Carton Flow dynamic picking racks.

Global Cosmetic Technology, S.L has relied on AR Racking's experience and leadership in industrial storage systems to optimize the use of space at their new center located in Guadassur (Valencia, Spain). "In Global Cosmetic Technology we are constantly innovating, conducting research and creating new products. For us it was essential to have a space with a large storage capacity, adaptable to our present and future needs", states Juan Morente, manager of Global Cosmetic Technology.

AR Racking has installed an Adjustable pallet racking system, a solution that allows direct and immediate access to the stored loads. The new Glossco Professional warehouse is equipped with electric counterbalanced trucks and stackers to carry out loading and unloading operations. Thanks to the conventional AR PAL pallet racking, the space can store up to a total of 870 800 x 1200 mm Euro pallets.

The warehouse also has dynamic picking Carton flow rack at the bottom of the racks with the aim of storing boxes and light products in a space-saving manner and with better control of stock rotation. The goods slide along slightly inclined wheel carriers at the different lane levels. The picking area is prepared to store approximately 6,700 boxes with a total of 600 references. "In this new warehouse we were looking for a fast and efficient order management", explains Silvia Castell from Glossco Professional.

"The lanes of AR Racking's Carton flow rack can be easily adapted transversely to accommodate different load units, which makes it a very versatile system for picking", explains Javier Miquel, project manager at AR Racking.
