Touron upgrades its new warehouse with a tailor-made AR Racking solution

TOURON, he exclusive distributor in Spain and Portugal of Mercury marine engines, Quicksilver, Bayliner and Navan boats, Talamex and Besto nautical accessories, and original Mercury and Quicksilver spare parts, has relied on AR Racking for the complete fit-out of its new logistics warehouse in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid). Delivered in record time, the installation strengthens TOURON’s storage capacity and ensures more efficient, safer operations tailored to the specific nature of its products.

The solution installed by AR Racking, based on a adjustable pallet racking system with customised shelving, provides storage for up to 4,767 units, including boat engines, metal containers and pallets of different formats. The structure features 8,500 mm-high frames and picking levels—both vertical and horizontal—made accessible thanks to welded wire mesh decking. It has been designed to streamline both storage and order preparation in a highly specialised logistics environment.

With a delivery time of just 3 weeks and installation completed in 4, he project strictly met the agreed schedule without affecting the customer’s day-to-day operations. “The AR PAL solution has enabled us to provide Touron with a versatile, robust and functional structure, fully adapted to its product catalogue and the pace of its warehouse,” explains Alfonso Peña, AR Racking Sales Representative for Central Spain.
