Three levels of efficiency: AR Racking optimizes Refax Colombia’s warehouse

REFAX COLOMBIA SAS has optimized its 3,200 m² warehouse with a three-level mezzanine solution designed and installed by AR Racking, aimed at increasing operational capacity and improving the management flow of spare parts for the automotive industry.

The new structure, offering 758 manual picking storage positions, was completed in a record time of 4 weeks and has resulted in a 60% increase in operational capacity, along with a significant reduction in order preparation and delivery times. The 7-meter-high installation is precisely adapted to the specific conditions of the warehouse and the type of load handled.

The solution developed by AR Racking included key elements such as protective mesh around the entire perimeter, two swing doors for palletized load reception, and a 500 kg capacity manual hoist, enabling the safe and efficient handling of a wide variety of references. This system complements a previous AR PAL racking project already implemented by the company.

Thanks to the collaboration between AR Racking’s engineering team in Colombia and the client, a structure was designed to maximize every square meter of the warehouse and fully meet business requirements: spacious storage, smooth circulation, and total safety for both operators and goods.
