New Pallet Flow System to increase storage capacity by 35% in Orlando

  • Project increased storage capacity by 35% without enlarging the warehouse.

AR Racking, has successfully completed a warehouse optimization project in Orlando, Florida, installing an AR Live Storage (Pallet Flow system) for a company in the paint, coatings, and adhesives manufacturing sector. In just three weeks, a previously underused area was transformed by replacing a conventional selective rack with a high-density pallet flow solution, boosting capacity within the same footprint.

The customer needed to maximize space in a specific warehouse zone without increasing the total area. The solution, designed to optimize uniform SKU storage using a FIFO (First In, First Out) layout, enabled a significant improvement in space efficiency and operational flow.

The new system covers 3,090 ft² and reaches a height of nearly 20 feet, allowing for a 35% increase in pallet count compared to the previous layout. This transformation demonstrates how intelligent design and proven technology can unlock untapped potential in existing facilities.

“This project is a clear example of how AR Racking USA helps clients turn space limitations into growth opportunities. The key lies in understanding their operation and delivering solutions that make a real difference,” said Joseph Talamas, National Sales Manager at AR Racking USA.

This successful implementation strengthens AR Racking’s presence in the North American market and highlights its commitment to providing innovative, efficient, and customer-centric storage solutions.
