GS Yuasa internalises its logistics operations with an AR Racking storage solution (Video)

• 2,500 pallet positions and dynamic racking in a 3,000 m² warehouse.

AR Racking, has completed the installation of a mixed storage system for GS Yuasa Battery Iberia at its new logistics centre in Madrid. The company, specialised in the manufacturing and distribution of industrial batteries, entrusted AR Racking with the design and implementation of a solution that would allow it to internalise the management of its warehouse, which had previously been outsourced.

The project, carried out in just 6 weeks, provided the new warehouse with 2,500 pallet positions distributed across two complementary systems: AR PAL Adjustable Pallet Racking for direct access to all SKUs, and Live Storage Pallet Racking (FIFO), which compacts the same type of pallet and optimises stock rotation. The solution was designed taking into account the specific requirements of the environment, including an installation height of 9,250 mm and logistics features typical of the industrial sector.

AR Racking’s engineering team worked closely with GS Yuasa to customise the structure, ensuring maximum safety, efficiency, and adaptation to the product dimensions and operational flows of the site.
