AR Racking upgrades Alpe Blue’s warehouse in Galicia with a high-efficiency shuttle system (Video)

AR Racking has completed the implementation of an AR Shuttle system at the warehouse of Alpe Blue S.L., a company specialised in multi-client logistics and based in Culleredo (A Coruña). The solution, custom-designed by AR Racking’s engineering team, transformed the existing 1,500 m² warehouse, increasing its storage capacity by 40% and enhancing operational efficiency and SKU management.

Alpe Blue aimed to modernise its logistics warehouse to improve efficiency and expand the range of SKUs managed. AR Racking’s shuttle system, based on compact storage, proved to be the ideal solution due to the seasonal nature of the products handled, including outdoor furniture and appliances such as tables, chairs, and terrace refrigerators.

The project stands out not only for the installation of a high-density system capable of handling up to 1,700 pallets in a variable configuration, but also for its fast execution: the warehouse renovation and system installation were completed in just 5 days. The facility features two differentiated storage heights (8,500 mm and 6,000 mm), operates at ambient temperature, and accommodates various pallet formats (800x1200, 1000x1200, and 1200x1200).
