AR Racking strengthens its AI commitment by joining BAIC

• AR Racking enhances its innovation strategy within the Basque Artificial Intelligence ecosystem.

AR Racking, a specialist in industrial storage solutions, has joined the Basque Artificial Intelligence Center (BAIC), reinforcing its commitment to innovation and the digital transformation of the logistics sector. This move is part of a shared strategy with Grupo Arania —AR Racking’s parent industrial group— which also includes ARANIA and AR Shelving. Aratubo has been a BAIC member since 2022.

Founded in 2021 by the Basque Government and 17 entities, BAIC has become the leading collaborative hub for accelerating the real implementation of artificial intelligence in the Basque industrial ecosystem. It currently includes 37 organizations working together to share knowledge, develop use cases, and attract specialized talent.

For AR Racking, being part of this ecosystem marks a decisive step toward integrating technologies such as advanced analytics and predictive maintenance into its storage systems, aiming to raise efficiency and operational safety standards in its projects worldwide.

By participating in BAIC’s key initiatives —such as the AppIAI congress, Dataton Euskadi, the IkasIA training program, and the BAIChallenge— AR Racking will remain at the forefront of the digital transformation of the logistics sector, further strengthening its value proposition as a strategic and technological partner.

Through this partnership, AR Racking consolidates its commitment to open innovation and a more competitive, efficient, and sustainable Industry 4.0, aligned with BAIC’s vision of positioning the Basque Country as a European benchmark in applied artificial intelligence.
