AR Racking: new warehouse for Agility Global Integrated Logistics, in Algeria

Agility Global Integrated Logistics, provider of supply chain solutions, air, ocean and road freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, and specialized services in project logistics, fairs and events and chemicals, has expanded its warehouse in Khemis El Khechna, 30 km east of Algiers.

AR Racking has been in charge of the development of the warehouse expansion project of the logistics company Agility in collaboration with its specialized distributor Ben Redouane.

For the Agility warehouse, AR Racking has designed and installed a conventional AR PAL (Adjustable Pallet Racking) storage system prepared to accommodate VNA forklift trucks.

This system is very versatile given its adaptability to any type of unit load or forklift truck and selective, as it allows immediate access to all unit loads and/or references stored. The adaptability of this system installed by AR Racking fits well with the logistical needs of the company, a leader on the markets of emerging countries.

The installed system gave the logistics operator a capacity of 15,500 pallets weighing 1,000 kilos, making the most of the storage space.

François Farnier, AR Racking's commercial director for Algeria, says that "for AR Racking, the installation of a storage system in a logistics company of this nature is a challenge because for this company that operates in more than 100 countries storage is one of its core assets".

This project is one of the largest installations carried out in North Africa by AR Racking and constitutes a landmark for the company.
