AR Racking equips a new warehouse for Recambios Frain to boost its operational efficiency

• 5,900 pallet positions optimise the logistics capacity of the Galician company.

AR Racking, specialist in industrial storage solutions, has successfully completed a new logistics project in Galicia for Recambios Frain, leader in the distribution of components for the automotive sector. The new warehouse, located in Lugo and with a total area of 4,000 m², has been designed to accompany the growth of the company, which was looking to increase its storage capacity and improve operational efficiency.

The installation, developed by AR Racking’s engineering team, has an adjustable pallet racking system which provides direct and rapid access to all references. A total of 5,900 pallet positions have been enabled in a 10-metre-high structure, adapted to store pallets of varying sizes and wheels, characteristic of Recambios Frain’s stock.

The solution was designed in close collaboration with the customer, including customised adjustments to fully optimise the space and ensure agile and safe operations. Every process, from planning to full installation, was completed in just under 3 weeks, minimising the impact on the company’s daily operations.
