AR Racking arrives at Seafood with its storage solutions for the food sector

• AR Racking will be on stand 3PP501 at the Seafood & Seafood Processing Fair from 25 to 27 April.

• The semi-automated solution AR Shuttle by Autosat will be particularly prominent at this event, where compact solutions will also be displayed.

• The storage system specialist will provide specific solutions for companies from the food sector and/or companies with cold storage needs.

AR Racking, one of Europe’s leading industrial storage suppliers, will take part at the Seafood Fair being held in Barcelona at the Gran Via de Fira venue on 25, 26 and 27 April. The company, with extensive experience in storage projects for food companies and cold logistics, will be on stand 3PP501 in hall 3 of Seafood Processing. It is the 29^th edition being 20% bigger than any of the previous editions, with more than 49,000 net square metres of exhibition area occupied.

AR Racking will showcase its wide range of solutions and services from the design and planning of storage systems through to their implementation and commissioning. At this event, the AR Shuttle by Autosat model will take centre stage. It is an optimal storage system due to its high density, modularity and operational agility for food companies, also totally adapted to products that need to be stored cold and/or frozen.

In addition to the shuttle solution, visitors will be able to see how mobile pallet racking solutions work, another of the optimum storage systems especially designed for cold stores due to their high compaction, selectivity and facilitation of the constant and homogeneous flow of temperature, essential for keeping food products in optimum conditions. Apart from the aforementioned products, the technical-sales team will show visitors the complete range of solutions for the food, fishing and/or refrigeration sectors.

Extensive experience in the food and refrigeration sector

AR Racking can point to a long track record and extensive experience in accompanying companies from this sector in improving the competitiveness of their business. In fact, AR Racking recently installed for one of the main octopus exporting companies, Discefa, a warehouse with mobile racking. Mobile pallet racking was also the storage system installed for the offal company ICP in Mercazaragoza and the frozen and precooked fish company Fandicosta, whose warehouse increased its storage capacity by more than 12,000 pallets with AR Racking storage systems.

For Virto Group, frozen foods company for retail, two cold storage projects have been carried out both with the shuttle solution with capacity for more than 10,000 pallets and the construction of a clad-rack warehouse for 56,000 pallets. Another of the systems installed for this sector are drive-in racking, as was the case in the warehouse of the company Mare Azzurro in Galicia, also in cold conditions.
