AR Racking and TryaSteel modernize the facilities of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic

• The new medium-duty racking system optimizes space and increases storage capacity.
• In just seven weeks, AR Racking and TryaSteel transformed the warehouse, enhancing both operational efficiency and safety.

AR Racking, a leading provider of industrial storage solutions, has successfully completed the refurbishment of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic’s warehouse, located in the National District of Santo Domingo. The project, carried out through its local partner TryaSteel, involved the installation of a Longspan Shelving system that significantly enhances storage capacity and improves overall space functionality.

The warehouse, with a total area of 1,063.39 m², has been equipped with specially designed racking structures capable of supporting loads over 200 kg, replacing the previously existing slotted angle shelving. This upgrade was essential to meet the client’s requirements for safely and efficiently storing a greater number of items, achieving a total storage capacity of 23,440 boxes.

The installation, with a height of 4,000 mm, included 1,000 mm beams and frames with depths of 850 mm and 450 mm, designed by AR Racking’s engineering team to meet the specific requirements of the project. The full refurbishment was completed in just seven weeks, ensuring a smooth and effective transition for the client.
