A new AR Shuttle solution in Colombia for Global Trading

At AR Racking, we have completed a new project in Colombia with the installation of an AR Shuttle system for GLOBAL TRADING DE COLOMBIA SAS, at its logistics center located in Interpark Industrial Park (Tenjo–Siberia road). The solution was delivered in just 7 working days, reaffirming our commitment to efficiency and excellence in execution.

Designed for a 1,000 m² ambient-temperature indoor warehouse, the installation provides capacity for 336 pallet positions, handling pallets of up to 1,500 kg each. Our AR Shuttle system was selected to maximize available space and streamline loading and unloading operations through motorized shuttles, integrated with WMS systems to ensure accurate inventory management.

We developed a custom design for the customer, considering 1,200 x 1,000 mm special pallets with overhang and 1,600 mm access tunnels. This high-density solution improves safety by reducing forklift traffic and enables continuous operations—ideal for a distribution center with intensive turnover.

This implementation not only meets the customer’s current needs, but also marks the start of a long-term collaboration. In the words of Jose Rodríguez, General Manager of GLOBAL TRADING:

“This is a pilot test of the system, which we will implement on a large scale in 2026 together with AR Racking Colombia.”
