Reconfiguration of ORO’s warehouse with Live Pallet and Adjustable Pallet Racking

ORO, the well renowned company that specialises in home care and protection products, has decided to reconfigure the space of one of its warehouses for more convenient and efficient product management. For this, it turned to the industrial racking and storage systems specialist, AR Racking.

For more agile and higher capacity warehouse operations, AR Racking has designed and installed in the warehouse located in San Antonio de Benageber (Valencia) a solution that combines Live Pallet and Adjustable Pallet Racking systems. “The new racking enables the flow of goods and storage operations”, explained Vicente Mengual, Maintenance-Engineering Manager of ORO. With more than 50 years of experience, the Valencian company markets its home care and protection products in more than 40 countries. 

Adjustable Pallet Racking will store products that require direct and immediate access, streamlining operations as much as possible. For its part, the FIFO (first in first out) live pallet racking storage system is the best solution to control stock turnover and fully optimise the available space. It is a high-density system that increases the capacity of a warehouse. Roller conveyors and a slight incline facilitate the sliding of pallet loads which also helps to reduce loading and unloading times.

“Combining both systems will achieve a simpler and more efficient flow of goods for ORO, having a direct impact on improving times and, therefore, the efficiency of human and material resources”, commented Víctor López, AR Racking Sales Executive for the Levante region.
