New adjustable pallet racking to speed up British American Tobacco’s production process

With over 100 years of commercial presence in Chile and more than 1,000 employees, the British American Tobacco (BAT) subsidiary there has entrusted AR Racking with improving the competitiveness of its production plant in the city of Casablanca (Valparaíso region).

AR Racking Chile carried out the installation of various adjustable pallet racking modules in the BAT cigarette factory. “We have installed a “satellite” warehouse, integrated inside the production plant which will serve to supply raw materials directly to the production line”, explained Juan Antonio Valdebenito, Project Manager in Chile.

For Claudio Diaz, Warehouse Manager of BAT, “the integration of a storage solution inside the factory will help us to speed up the production process, saving time and effort in product handling”. Adjustable pallet racking is a highly adaptable system to a wide range of needs and helps to quickly locate goods directly and immediately.
