New QBCO warehouse equipped with pallet racking system
Grupo QBCO, a Colombian company oriented towards the development, production and marketing of its own brands in the food sector, has relied on AR Racking to optimize the space of its new warehouse. The equipment, located in Guadalajara de Buga (Valle del Cauca, Colombia), has a total area of 1,360 m2.
AR Racking has installed the Adjustable Pallet Racking system. Grupo QBCO, which offers a diversified portfolio of products such as oils, pasta, preserves and sauces, has now 2,350 storage positions in its warehouse.
“The modular structure of the installed system can easily adapt to new storage needs. This is an essential feature for a company like QBCO, where we work with different products with varying characteristics” says Carlos Andrés Ricaurte, Head of Storage and Inventories at QBCO S.A.S.
“The AR PAL Adjustable pallet racking system makes the most of the available space. In this case, we have installed 7 load levels, the last level being at a height of 10.8 meters”, explains Edward Suescun, AR Racking Colombia’s Commercial Manager.
The fast location of the pallets, the saving of time in the handling of the merchandise and the rigorous control over the stored references are the main advantages of the AR PAL system.
