Warehouse with picking solutions for the Consorcio Mantenimiento de Gasoductos del Perú (MGP)

The Consorcio Mantenimiento de Gasoductos del Perú – MGP (Peru Gas Pipeline Maintenance Consortium), commissioned once again AR Racking, leader in industrial storage systems, to equip its new 1,200 m² warehouse located in Megacentro Lurin (Lima).

After analysing the customer’s needs, AR Racking designed and implemented an APR storage system adapted to picking solution for the new centralised warehouse from where the necessary materials and equipment will be despatched for the Peru Gas Pipelines maintenance service through the Consorcio MGP (Stork & Sicim) responsible for the management of this after winning the contract.

For this, AR Racking adapted the adjustable pallet racking system, contemplating galvanised panels, so that the storage solution would be adapted to a picking system. In fact, one of the main advantages of the adjustable pallet systems is their adaptability to different storage needs, both in weight and volume, as in this case. The customer will be able to access the goods immediately and directly. In total, the warehouse has 280 load plans.

With this warehouse, Consorcio MGP will provide comprehensive plant maintenance, emergency and geotechnical works services along more than 1,500 kilometres of pipelines that connect Peru’s main gas field, Camisea, to the Peruvian coast, and which are of huge value in providing energy distribution throughout Peru.
