Multiter racking for the logistic reorganisation of Soldaduras Edith Paz

AR Racking successfully completed the logistics reorganisation of the Soldaduras Edith Paz warehouse with the installation of a three-floor level multitier racking with a capacity to store 300 kg of load per picking level.

"We have a very large warehouse, but the problem was that it was very cluttered. The waste of space was making us uncompetitive. We needed an efficient use of space and that is why we relied on AR Racking," explains Federico Atkins, Director of Soldaduras Edith Paz.

Multitier racking is the ideal solution for warehouses with the possibility of growth in height through the creation of different levels of aisles, generally for manual loading, at various heights which are accessed via stairs. In this case, AR Racking has designed a multitier racking solution in which pallets can also be stored on the top level.

The quality of the materials, the engineering expertise and the project execution times were key for the client when choosing AR Racking: "AR Racking offered us to complete the project within 3 to 4 weeks, compared to 3 months offered by its competitors. They also have certified quality material and a technical team that understood exactly what we needed," adds Atkins.

Soldaduras Edith Paz, based in the commune of Pudahuel (Santiago Metropolitan Region), is a company specialising in refrigeration and transport equipment. It also has a highly specialised welding area. "Until now, the customer stored the cargo in their own trailers. The large warehouse space was wasted, but with the storage solution we designed, it is now absolutely profitable, and we are sure that the customer will significantly improve its efficiency," says Germán Flores Miranda, General Manager of AR Racking in Chile.
