Coresa Group opens a new warehouse with the help of AR Racking (Video)

Coresa Group, leader in Latin America in electrical and lighting materials, entrusted AR Racking to equip its new warehouse at the Carpitas Lurín Logistics Centre in Peru. The company, with its headquarters in Argentina, continues its expansion on the American continent, for which it has relied on AR Racking’s experience in all types of industrial storage solutions.

AR Racking implemented an adjustable pallet racking solution that incorporates some picking levels considering galvanised panels. This installation in Lurín will be used as a centralised warehouse where the orders of Coresa Group distributors will be dispatched directly. Following the agile logistics requirements of Coresa, AR Racking installed a storage solution that provides direct and immediate access to the goods, generating 1,720 pallet positions and 200 spaces for smaller unit loads.

The 3,000 m² warehouse fitted with adjustable pallet racking will store Coresa’s more than 1,500 SKU, achieving good stock control with this system, despite the wide range of references. “AR Racking’s industrial racking will allow us to achieve maximum logistics operating efficiency, a priority for our company if we want to remain as leaders in terms of breadth of portfolio and quality of service”, commented Santiago Osorio, Logistics Manager of Coresa Group. The company currently has more than 300 customers and more than 160 employees. Macroled, Chint Electric, PowerSwitch and Inteck are Coresa’s main brands, giving it a presence in 8 Latin American countries.
