Infographic: What is the equivalent of AR Racking’s production capacity?

image

At the end of 2017 AR Racking expanded its production center in Spain, resulting in a 60% increase in production capacity to now exceed 80,000 tonnes per year.

This expansion increases the potential of one of the leading and most modern production facilities in Europe, fully automated and technically supported by the AR Racking technology centre.

Thanks to this state-of-the-art production facility, AR Racking is able to produce with the very highest quality standards its industrial storage solutions that range from storage systems for large, mainly palletised, loads, through to solutions for the manual picking of boxes.

This production capacity of 80,000 tonnes will therefore be transformed throughout the year into major projects of clad rack buildings, adjustable pallet racking systems or compact storage solutions, which we prepare for our customers worldwide.

To help understand more clearly and visually the magnitude of these figures, we present this infographic which illustrates comparatively this production capacity of 80,000 tonnes per year with well-known examples.

For example, the equivalent to one of the most recognisable monuments worldwide, the Eiffel Tower (Paris, France), would be an annual production capacity of nearly 8 Eiffel Towers.

The comparison with one of the most widely used aircraft in the world, the Boeing 747-400, would be the equivalent of producing 436 of these aircraft per year in AR Racking’s production facility.

And as an example outside the industrial world, the comparison with one of the world’s most iconic animals, the African elephant, would be the equivalent in tonnes of 14,546 elephants.
