AR Racking equips the 109 Distribution Electrique warehouse in Reunion Island with ABC Équipement

109 Distribution Electrique is a wholesale (B2B) distributor of electrical equipment based in Reunion Island (France), located in the Indian Ocean (east of Madagascar). The firm, which has four outlets on the island, has relied on AR Racking and ABC Equipement to equip its warehouse in the Fougerolles Sainte-Clotilde area.

AR Racking has installed a conventional Adjustable pallet racking (AR PAL) system that allows direct and immediate access to the cargo. This system has been combined with the installation of a Multitier solution with the aim of gaining useful surface height within the same space.

The Multitier solution, installed in 440 m2 of the surface area, has two stairs access and has been equipped with Longspan shelving for manual picking. The versatility of this system allows its adaptation to all types of cargo and provides an easy access to stored references.

The installation has been carried out by ABC Équipement, AR Racking’s strategic distributor. ABC Équipement is a company oriented to the commercialization of handling and lifting equipment and the distribution of energy in the fields of industry and construction. Established in Reunion Island, but also present in Mayotte, its activities have diversified to offer customers a more complete range of services.
